My iPhone 13 in India is not getting 5g and airtel is saying Apple need to update the software

My iPhone 14 in India is not getting 5G and Airtel is saying Apple need to update the application. Airtel is not ready to push the OTA update. Please release the 5G update for Indian Telco service providers. Thanks

Why Apple not doing it? Doesn’t it want to sell iPhone now in India as without 5G support no body will buy iPhone in India.
