Can’t to update apps in apps stores

Here are two suggestions:

1. Update the iOS on your iPhone XS. Do this by selecting Settings > About > Software Update. You should be able to update it to iOS 16. I see you are at 14.
2. Secondly, I suggest you go to Settings > App Store then set App Updates and Automatic Downloads to ON.
