Google Calendar HTML

Hi all,

I use Google Calendar on computer, and syncs that account to the original pre-installed Calendar app on iPhone.

When I view my calendar event on the iPhone, the event notes are not easy to read because they are all in HTML code.

Example:

According to this old thread, it was a problem already in 2018.

Google Calendar HTML notes - Apple Community

In Google Calendar Help forum, it is suggested that Apple iOS calender app doesn't support basic formatting (HTML), but that can't be true for the iOS.

I see the problem on my iPhone SE, SE2 and SE3.

I don't see it on my moms iPhone Xs and my friends iPhone 13 Pro doesn't have this problem.

I tried upgrading to iOS 16.0.2 and I have tried "Reset" and "Erase All Content and Settings".

It didn't change anything.

Any suggestions to fix this?
