I plugged my iPhone 6s+ iOS 15.7 to a PC and chose to back up to iCloud but it backs up to "my computer".
Then I chose to back up to "my computer" and, of course, it backs up to "my computer".
Then I chose to back up to iCloud again but again it backs up to "my computer".
It always backs up to my computer.
What is wrong?

Sorry that is not how it works when you back up to the cloud.

Sorry that is not how it works when you back up to the cloud.

So why is there a button "iCloud"?
If I choose the "iCloud button" it backs up to "this computer"
If I choose the "this computer button" it backs up to "this computer"
Why do we have two buttons if both back up do "this computer"?
Does iTunes backs up to iCloud?
I did not ask what it backs up. I asked if ITunes makes backup to iCloud.

No, iTunes makes backups to your computer.
To change to iCloud Backup on your device use Settings > Your Apple ID > iCloud > iCloud Backup > Back Up This iPhone > On.
