Hi everyone! First MacBook ever...
The question: if I am searching something on Google is it normal that whenever I right click on a link to open a new tab, the whole text link become selected, highlighted in light blue in the same way it happens when double clicking on a single word?
Can I get a secondary click without highlighting links through settings? How?

The right click or "secondary click" always brings up a context-sensitive menu, and if you secondary click a text link, it's normal for that text to be highlighted in blue. I know of no way to disable that behavior.
Thanks, you gave me an ultimate hint: from System Preferences > General I just changed the highlight colour into Other, and I selected a sorta of "dirty" white not invasive at all, but that I can see when I select some text.
Sorry, the highlighting I'm talking about, around link or hypertext when trying to open other tabs with secondary click, is grey, not blue...
