LaCie external hard drive

The LaCie Hard drive no longer responds and does not show up on my MacBook Pro.

LaCie not recognised_Sonoma_14.6.1 Hi all, I'm having this problem with my 1TB LaCie harddrive not being recognised by my Mac. Currently on Sonoma 14.6.1, but this has been an issue for over a month or so. I thought it was my cable or the port, etc. Nope. It's the Mac not recognising it. I tried going through System Information -> USB. Not there. I tried changing from 'volumes' to 'Show all devices' in Disk Utility. Nothing. What's the current word/update on this? I work at a University and LaCie harddrives are our go-to external storage option.

Mac book does not read any external drives My macbook pro stopped reading any external drives. I checked all the obvious settings and tried multiple drives and cables. My OS is up to date. Can anyone help me?

Disk Utility not working with external drive plugged in. The Disk Utility is unresponsive (everything grayed out, nothing even trying to load) when MacBook Pro is started with the external drive connected. The external drive shows up in Finder. When starting my MacBook without the external drive connected, my internal hard drive does show up in Disk Utility. I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015 running macOS Monterey Version 12.6.1

Hi,

Just wonder if DiskUtility detects your external drive or not, and your external drive can be seen on other Mac or PC.
