I was going to buy a FRENCH SIM card to use while traveling. How do I keep all my current apps/contacts on my phone?

The iphone does not store any data at all on the SIM card. Switching SIMs will not affect the data on your phone.

Great-- so all my Apps and contacts/ photos stay on it--- as long as I have cloud back up, correct?
