iCloud Drive taking too much iPhone space

- "Your most recently accessed files are downloaded to this device"

Hello, I'm having an issue where iCloud Drive is taking up nearly 10GB of my iPhone's memory.

I have almost no files inside the iCloud Drive (maximum 200MB of files) and when I enter the iPhone Storage, the iCloud Drive takes up 9.56GB and contains the following message: "your most recently accessed files are downloaded to this device icloud drive ".

I researched here on the apple forum and in several other places, none of them could give a solution. Can anyone help me make iCloud Drive take up less space on the iPhone? (again, i have almost no files inside iCloud Drive!!!)

Use the Files app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support -- Since iCloud Drive documents and folders are saved in the Files app, did you check there? These are the things that can be found in the Files app:

Use the Files app to manage your files on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, you can manage your files in the Files app. When you make changes to your files on one device, your edits are automatically updated on every device using iCloud Drive.

In the Files app, you can find:

• Files on the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch that you're using

• Files in iCloud Drive, including Pages, Numbers, and Keynote documents

• Files in other cloud services and apps, like Box, Dropbox, OneDrive, Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Drive, and more

• Zip files*

The Files app doesn't contain your photo library. But you can save a photo to the Files app.
