Is there any support for iBooks authoring tools. Like the review tool?

Not really. Although Apple did some initial work in Pages v10.1 allowing it to open the .iba files, most of the iBooks Author application functionality and interactive document capability are not supported in Pages. No one outside of the Pages product team knows what Apple's future planning is for Pages with respect to iBooks Author replacement or support.
