Asking for Apple ID password on startup

I have an iPhone 12 pro that I love, since updating to latest firmware 16.0.2 every time I turn my phone on in the morning it asks me to enter my Apple ID password! My apps are all up to date and even been into local (Western Computer) and O2 stores who claim they have never heard of this problem............ How do I fix it?
