Whenever i try to add any credit/debit card it keeps getting declined and give me the message (could not add card try again later or contact your …), there is no issue with the bank and i have the same issue with all my cards not just one.
region is set to france (where i live)
all my cards support apple pay
iPhone X, iOS 16
Try the following:
If none of those work, then try linking the payment method:
Open Settings ➢ your name at the top of the list ➢ Payment & Shipping ➢ Add Payment Method.
Once the payment method has been added, you will have the option to link it to Apple Pay.

None of the solutions above helped. But I added the the card to payment and shipping but how can i directly link payment method to apple
The option to link your payment method should automatically show up (I discovered this method last month when I updated my payment method).
Thank you for that tip, but still the same issue always can’t add card to wallet even tho i linked it to my payment method.
