Family Sharing

My son has lost his ipod and shares a family share with me i have requested his apple ID to be deleted but i need to stop family sharing, can you help?

If your son is less than 13 years old, he needs to be transferred to another family. If you successfully delete his ID, that will eliminate that requirement. See the second link for how to stop Family Sharing.

Rather than canceling your son's Apple ID, I recommend that you just mark his lost iPod as "lost" in his Find My. Keep his Apple ID alive and ready to be assigned to his next Apple device.
