iMessage buffering

One of my iMessage contacts continually buffers and prior messages disappear when a new message sent so there is no thread

Some messaging threads disappear I purchased my iPhone 14 max a few weeks ago. For the most part my iMessage works fine. However, a few of my contacts the messaging threads disappear while displaying a buffering spinning screen. Not sure why this happens. Both users also use iPhones. Any ideas?

Disappearing iMessage All iMessages are showing up except from one iPhone user contact? The message comes through initially, but when you press on the message to read it….the message disappears.
