Cannot connect my wireless Mouse on new iMac Monterey

As of late yesterday evening (10/9), my kybd and mouse are both connecting again. I restarted the iMac but it didn't seem to make any difference. Then I let the kybd charge for a couple hours beyond when SysPrefs said it was 100%, and then did the same with the mouse (I used an old USB one while the kybd charged). Late in the evening the iMac had gone to sleep, and on a whim I tried using the unplugged kybd to wake it up, and it worked as usual! Unplugged the well-charged Magic mouse and it worked too... all back to normal. Wish I could tell you how/why....

Same here; both the Magic Mouse and keyboard aren't detected. The keyboard works if plugged in to the iMac.

I am having the exact same issue. It seems impossible to connect it. The imac detects my magic mouse but won't connect to it. It has basically made my iMac useless.
