My iPhone 14 Pro on IOS 16.0.2, makes a clicking sound from the main camera lens when on Instagram. And the Camera freezes for a few milliseconds before starting.
Anyone else facing this? Any solution to this found??

When I use Instagram, at first I only have the camera clicking sound especially when opening the app first time. But now when I try to open story, it always freezes. I try to contact apple through chat support, they refer us to Instagram Developer.
Yes, I have also spoken with Apple support on Chat, they are directing us towards contacting Instagram.
Instagram doesn’t seem to have any acknowledgment of this issue so far.
I have currently blocked camera access for Instagram app, and hoping a software update (either from Instagram or Apple) in the future can resolve this.
I have the same thing with Instagram and don’t know what to do… Should we wait for update or it’s defect from previous camera shaking journey…?
also my lens is moving like up when I open camera apps but just in Instagram there is a click noise…

This problem has been there since iOS 16 for me on my iPhone 14 Pro.
When I contacted Apple Support they told me they were working on a fix for the next update. Now we are at iOS 16.1 and there is absolutely no fix.
I found that the "clicking" sound when I turn on the camera on Instagram, and it was quite noticable.
However, I also heard that clicking sound when I turn on my camera on Whatsapp as well, it just not easy to hear the sound compare to Instagram.
I am currently using iOS16.0.2.

Is the problem fixed with the new Instagram update?
I noticed that the clicking sound is no longer there but the screen still flashes when I open the instagram camera

Maybe you should update to iOS 16.1 and update the apps too :)
