Logic Pro X audio midi monitoring

how do I have a live piano in the monitor and a my guitar audio live as well? looking for a way to have my m audio keystayton 61 active not just when I record

If you have a midi track set up in Garageband and click on the monitor icon on the track you should hear the keys or guitar through your headphones or monitor speakers. You will probably get feedback if the input source is a microphone and you are monitoring with speakers.
