Why do my AirPods pro 2 disconnect when I answer a call

Could you tell us which device you’re answering calls on? We ask this because when we’re working with Apple products you can answer an incoming call on an iPhone, Apple Watch, Mac, iPad or iPod, depending on your settings. 

If this is an iPhone, here are some steps to begin with - 

Restart your iPhone and test answering a call - Restart your iPhone

Make sure your iPhone’s software is up to date Update your iPhone or iPad 

Verify that the latest firmware is installed for your AirPods About firmware updates for AirPods
