MP583 Thermal Printer support

I have an MP583 which my iPhone XS says is unsupported but works with some apps.

I wish to use it with Square for printing receipts.

any advice would be most welcome.

Everything I try to print from my iPhone sends to my printer on legal size paper. Everything I try to print from my iPhone sends to my printer on legal size paper, which I don't use, and it won't allow me to change it to letter size paper. Please help, as I am unable to print anything at all from my phone.

Problem selecting A5 size paper. I have an Epson SX445W WiFi printer and have been successfully printing on A4 and A5 sized paper for years. All of a sudden the option to select A5 size paper is no longer available from any of the Apps or anywhere else I request a document or photo to be printed. I can print successfully on A4 size paper from my phone and iPad but A5 size is no longer listed as an option. I have recently updated both phone and iPad to ios 17.1 , could this be the issue.

Have yo checked with Square to see if it is possible to do this? And who makes the MP583? Is it listed as AirPrint compatible?
