faceid stopped working

Instead of unlocking the phone, it asked for a passcode. Looks like a phishing attack.

Rebooted the phone. Seems to be getting worse. Second time this week.

Unexpected failed attempts for Face ID and Passcode on iPhone I noticed this happened when I went to install 18.3, it required my iPhone passcode but it said there had been 3 failed attempts. The next day my screen time passcode said there was a failed attempt. And today I went to check everything again and now it said there was an attempt for my faceid and passcode tab in the settings. Why does my iPhone frequently ask for passcode to use Face ID? My iPhone asks for my passcode in order to use FaceID all the time. iPhone is always asking for passcode even though Face ID is enabled iPhone is repeatedly asking me for my password even though Face ID is enabled. This is not after the allotted time where passwords is required or upon reset. I’ll open my phone, it’ll ask for passwords. Then 1 minute later I’ll open my phone and it’ll ask for password again
