Mac M1- no send button on Imessages

And when I click enter, nothing happens. Apparently no way to send messages.

Mac mini, macOS 10.13

Never mind. I figured it out.... I had two different logins - one for the apple id and another for the imessages. I aligned the Imessage with that Apple ID and everything is working.

Actually, this morning it tried to send, but it wasn't delivered. I have no idea why, the internet is up and running at 100mb down and 90mb up. Text SHOULD work.
