I am getting repeated crashes of Apple Mail. I saw a post from earlier this year suggesting to run in safe mode. I did and crashes kept occurring. I then tried macOS reinstall, and within 20 minutes of logging back in Mail crashed. What would be the next step?

Were you able to make sure that everything is updated, including 3rd party apps and any of your extensions?
Does it help if you open the Mail app while holding the SHIFT key? Prevent apps and windows from reopening - Apple Support
Have you tried to simply delete and reinstall the Mail app on your Mac? If an app on your Mac stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open - Apple Support
