Wrong address showing in "Find My".

No matter how often or where I type my home address which is everywhere the OS allows me "Find My' always shows the wrong address... about three doors away. Any way to force the application to use the right address with "Find My" and "Maps"? Ive chosen iCloud as "topic, but actually this applies to all three of my devices. Iphone 13 Mini, Older 2nd gen iPad and a year old MacBook Pro. Thank you in advance. Phil.

Thank you for your help, I've been through your advice and I'm still getting my location shown wrong, but... I think its because I live in an apartment and all the flats have the same post code, it shows my downstairs neighbours flat as my address in find my.

Location services when enabled works , by searching devices using IP address , you can name the location Find friends and share your location with Find My - Apple Support

  • Select Edit Location Name to label their location.

It all depends upon your map services in your country how accurately they work ( its showing approximate location but quite very near by ) .

It doesn't mean your iPhone / Mac is unsecured and joined to their network on their address iCloud security overview - Apple Support

Hey there MentalElf1959,

Since Find My will show where the device is located, we'd like to make sure you have the correct address set up for your contact card instead as that might cause issues with what's appearing as your current home address.

Use the steps below to help update and edit your contact card:

Complete My Card
Tap My Card at the top of your contacts list, then tap Edit. Contacts suggests addresses and phone numbers to help you set up My Card.
If there is no My Card, tap the Add button, then enter your information. Next, go to Settings  > Contacts > My Info, then tap your name in the contacts list.

Edit My Card
Tap My Card at the top of your contacts list, then tap Edit.

You can also teach Siri how to pronounce your name. See Tell Siri how to say your name.

Add your contact info on iPhone - Apple Support

Take care!
