iCloud Messages

Last night my messages barely took any space on iCloud, I had 4.3GB storage that was taking up space but two hours later it was at 5GB and my messages was taking up like 2.1GB. I sent or received little to zero photos and sent like 30 ish texts. How is this possible?

And when I go to delete my messages, and my attachments and lots of my links on messages, it still says there’s 2.1GB for messages that’s taking up iCloud. On top conversations it says there’s 4.1MB. What is going on and how do it fix it because I can’t back up my phone because of this.

We wouldn't be able to speculate as to why the size increased. This could be related to backups or similar with it still showing on iCloud. If not, and the content is still taking up space, you may need to reach out to Apple directly to look into this with you further. Get Support
