I have an IPad Pro, model A1584 (1st Generation). There is a software program on CD that I need to install. Is there a compatible CD reader I can purchase for this? Also, do I need a USB adaptor? Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
If you have some type of software on CD that you're looking to install on an iPad, that's not going to happen. Any iPad software to be installed on an iPad must be done through Apple's App Store.

To add to what the other two posters provided, an iPad does not have any drivers to use a CD drive with the iPad.
