iMovie putting filter over my imported images

How do I keep iMovie from putting a filter over my imported images? Every time I insert a picture it always becomes over saturated and I don’t know how to fix it.

There could be two reasons for this, project settings or the individual clip setting, but it sounds like it it’s automatic it’s the project settings. Here’s how to fix that.

  1. Go into your project so you see the timeline view
  2. above the Viewer tap the cog icon, ‘Project Settings’
  3. Choose ‘None’ for project filter

if it’s already ‘None’, tap the clip, then tap ‘filters’ at the bottom and tap ‘none’ there. That should remove the filter :)
