visual voicemail not visible/shown after ios16 update

For some reason after i updated to ios16 there is no longer a visual voicemail box in the phone app. While I can access my voicemail by call I’m worried that all the voicemails i’ve saved on visual voicemail have been deleted/disappeared with the feature itself. Anyone else having this issue?
