Disable Fitness Focus *Just* for Walking

I find it helpful when the fitness focus kicks in automatically during a workout, but I don’t want it to kick in when logging an outdoor walk as it’s unnecessary. Is it possible to disable it for just outdoor walks?

Hello WillZMarler,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

You as are able to create another Focus which wouldn’t include your outdoor walks as listed here: Use Focus on Apple Watch - Apple Support

Create your own Focus

  1. On your iPhone, go to Settings  > Focus.
  2. Tap the Add button, choose a Focus, then follow the onscreen instructions.
  3. If you create a custom focus, you can choose a color and an icon to represent it, and enter a name for it.

Additionally, we recommend that you leave Apple feedback here: Product Feedback - Apple

Take care.
