Apple Watch workout font too small

Hi. I have my watch set on largest text, but still I can't read the exercise metrics without my glasses - which I don't like to run with.

I have to use a Garmin watch for that simple reason. Great pity, given the great new running features in Watch OS 9. There is plenty of spare screen real estate, they should be able to make the workout font much bigger - perhaps maybe selecting fewer metrics per screen.

Has anyone found a solution or third party app that has a huge display.

Unfortunately I have the same challenge as LogicUserNoob, OS9 has made the Workout App useless for me on the move (running/cycling).

In OS7 & OS8 the size of the font for your chosen metrics changed to fill the available screen. I purposely selected only 2 or 3 metrics so I could read the numbers on the move. That feature has been broken with OS9, and now the top half of the screen is empty, with the small, unreadable metrics at the bottom.

Apple have introduced lots of new features to the app. 10/10 for techno-whizz features of limited use, except to a pro-athlete with super eye sight!!! 0/10 for your average user who doesn't have perfect reading sight :-(

In Accessibility Settings > Text it is possible to enable "Dynamic Type", just a shame Apple's own workout App doesn't use this option.

Such updates need to be tested in real scenarios by real people. This would have failed usability testing by a significant portion of the population.
