Apple Watch badges

I incorrectly added exercise mins in the Health app. I managed to manually remove them was awarded my monthly challenge badge and it didn't revert. I also got a new exercise mins badge which I want to reset to my actual achievement. Speaking to support on calls and chat, it seems near on impossible to get this to update correctly. I've been advised that once badges are 'earned, they're earned' and can't be removed...
