I'm having trouble using apple pay on my new 8 ultra and have tried everything......any suggestions or is it a bug with this series??

Apple Pay Doesn’t Work On New Series 9 Apple Watch Apple Pay worked perfectly with my Series 7 Apple Watch, but since switching to a Series 9 watch it doesn’t work at all. I get a haptic vibration, but the watch screen says check iPhone. There is no notification on the iPhone when checked. I have removed and added back my cards in all of my devices multiple times and still no luck.
