Missing attachments (photos, videos, etc.) in iMessage conversations (iOS 16 update)

Has anyone else lost their photos and videos within a conversation on iMessage? I updated to iOS 16 and in one particular thread, all of my photos and videos are missing from the detail menu. I have to scroll back in messages to look at them, but they don't come back to the detail menu. If anyone has any solutions that would be great because support could not help me at the time.
