Really didn't want to get a cable to use my Mac but maybe that's the easiest???? I can mirror the screen but I only get sound, no picture then on either the Mac or Tv, so I've been using my iPhone but . . . .

System Preferences > Display > Add Display ... select the compatible network device.
This is the way it works with Monterey, but your device must be fully compatible and properly setup to receive.
If still on 12.3, I suggest you move up to 12.6.

Yeah, tried that - I get sound and no picture - on Mac or Tv. And somehow CC turns itself on. Any thoughts on that one?
How do I stream from my Mac to my tv? iPhone does it fine through Air Play. Not an option on my Mac
