Notes Passwords

Face Recognition was used to lock an iCloud Note on my iPhone. When the iCloud Note was reviewed on my mini MAC it was locked, requiring a password to open. As a password was not used to lock the Note, what password can be used to open it on the computer?

Mac mini, macOS 12.6

LOCKED NOTE I have an issue with a password protected note in the Notes App. I forgot the password and the hint I created is no longer meaningful - I forgot what it relates to. I want to delete the note but I need the password to delete it. Is there a way to delete a locked note without using the password. I don't use Touch ID or Face Recognition.

You can unlock it with whatever password you used; Face ID was just a “shortcut” to your password that you set.

Thank you, however, a password was never assigned prior to using Face Recognition to secure the Note. What password should be used?

You did assign a password before using Face ID.
