Can I downgrade my OS 12.6 to 10.12?

Hello, I have a Macbook Pro 2017 that is currently running Monterey 12.6. I am trying to connect a DJ controller to it but that last supported OS version is 10.12. Is there any way I can downgrade to 10.12?

Thank You.

Yes, but not without some major mess ups of your music and photo library. If your 2017 Mac did come with 10.12 (it was released before September 25, 2017), you can add an external hard drive to it and format it HFS Extended GUID, and run internet recovery (command-option-shift-R) at startup to install Sierra on the external drive. The downside, while booted from 10.12 you will not be able to see the content on 12.6 installed drive. You can switch between the two with the Option key at startup.

Original photos and ripped music albums and songs will remain intact, but the favorite and libraries will not downgrade.
