No total distance announcements in watch OS 9?

Prior to OS 9 I was able to get announcements on pace and total distance in the workout app. I only walk and hike; I am not interested in splits. So my watch would announce when I had walked 1 mile and the pace, then 2 miles and the pace, etc. With OS 9 I can’t find how to get that back. Did Apple eliminate that functionality?

Outdoor Run workout split alerts in km instead of miles in WatchOS 11 Since updating my watch to WatchOS 11 this week it has started giving me pace alerts every km whereas before it was providing them every mile, which is what I want. On my phone in the Watch app I've gone to "Settings > Workout > Units Of Measure > Walking and Running Workouts" and it is still set to "Miles". On the watch in "Workout > Outdoor Run > Preferences > Splits" it's set to 1km with no apparent way to change the units. Additionally, during my running workout it now displays the distance on-screen in km when what I want is miles. I've done all the shut down/restart nonsense to no effect. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Apple Watch workout screen showing km for walking since WatchOS 11 upgrade Before yesterday's upgrade to WatchOS 11, I had my walking and running workout units set to miles. Today when I went for a walk the workout screen showed kilometers instead. The units for 'walking and running workouts' in settings are still set to miles. Does anyone know how to fix this?

It is still there somewhere since I go it on my Ultra watch this morning.

I got it on my serie 6 watch and I restored my Ultra from that backup.
