watch flashes green after reaching fitness goal

After most recent software update, my watch screen flashes green after reaching any fitness goals. How can I turn this off? It’s incredibly annoying and I think it drains the battery too much

Hello jabra user,

When you close a ring in the Fitness app, an animation appears to celebrate the accomplishment.

If you do not wish to see this, open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone. Tap on My Watch (at the bottom) > Activity and toggle Goal Completions off. This should stop that from appearing.

I’m having the issue too. I don’t use other apps on my watch so I don’t know if anything else causes this. But my watch screen is flashing green any time I close a ring. Not sure what is causing this glitch. And no I don’t want to turn off the animation, just want the animation to play correctly. I am hopping it is just a software glitch from WatchOS and not a new hardware issue. (I used to have a series 3 that was riddled with issues). But if you just started having it, we will see if an update fixes it.

Your answer isn't helpful in the least. What's happening is a bug, introduced in the most recent WatchOS update. Thinking for a moment that Apple isn't capable of displaying an animation on its Apple Watch without the entire screen randomly flashing a full screen of green during the animation is a laugh.
