Homekit Automations not triggering

HomeKit and Automations are great features and you've completed some great troubleshooting steps thus far. There are additional steps that can be helpful in resolving this issue. Have you verified that two-factor authentication is enabled for your Apple ID? If not, make sure two-factor authentication is enable using the steps listed below on an iOS device as this can help with resolving this issue.

1. "Go to Settings > [your name] > Password & Security. 
2. Tap Turn On Two-Factor Authentication.
3. Tap Continue.
4. Enter the phone number where you want to receive verification codes when you sign in. You can choose to receive the codes by text message or automated phone call.
5. Tap Next.
6. Enter the verification code to verify your phone number and turn on two-factor authentication."
