Multiple app instances
I would like to open two instances of Books, I’m learning Spanish so want to have the Spanish and translated pages side by side. Don’t think this can be done?

While the Apple Books App does support multitasking with other Apps, Books does not itself support multiple windows.
If you have updated your iPad to iPadOS15, you will see a banner stating this limitation when attempting to launch a second instance of Apple Books.
