Sidecar MacBook Pro and iPad Pro

I have a 2019 MacBook Pro, I updated it to macOS Monterey 12.6 earlier today. I just bought my iPad Pro a week ago, I didn't have problems side-caring it until I updated my MacBook to the Monterey 12.6. So, I tried to update my iPad, to iPadOS 15.7, to see if that would work, both devices are completely up-to-date on software. But, side-car still won't work I use these devices for school and it's important that I can side car them. Is there anything I can do to fix the problem? or is it a malfunction?

Is the Apple ID that's being used one that's managed by the school? We ask as the page helps to note in the 'Sidecar system requirements' section that "Sidecar does not support Managed Apple IDs."

Be sure to check that the same Apple ID is still signed in successfully to each device as well. This will be in Settings > [your name] on the iPad, and System Preferences > Apple ID on the Mac.

Here are the additional requirements to check on per the prior link:

• To use Sidecar wirelessly, both devices must be within 10 meters (30 feet) of each other and have Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Handoff turned on. Your iPad must not be sharing its cellular connection and your Mac must not be sharing its internet connection.

•To use Sidecar over USB, your iPad must be set to trust your Mac
