Can I download a movie on my iPhone and watch it on a monitor later?

Can I download an Apple TV movie on my iPhone and watch it on a monitor later, for example when camping.

Rented Movie on Phone - Not showing up on TV or Computer, Can't Cast Either I rented a movie on Apple TV + on my phone (because easier checkout) but it is not showing up when I open Apple TV+ on my computer or TV. I also have tried casting it from my phone to the tv or computer and this doesn't work, even with a Mac. Please help I do not want to watch on my phone! Is there an alternative way to find rented movies that i am not seeing? When I search the movie on tv/computer it doesn't even appear in the results.

Movies Anywhere offline download I downloaded movies using the download offline from Movies Anywhere which is connected to my Apple TV app. Instructions said to do this if I wanted to watch movies on a flight because I wouldn’t have access to the app. It shows it downloaded but it is not showing in my files download folder. I’m assuming it only downloaded to the app. How do I get it downloaded to my actual iPad to watch without an internet connection in airplane mode?

Hi steemrlr,

Yes, you can download Apple TV+ content to your iPhone - Download and stream shows and movies from Apple TV+ and Apple TV channels - Apple Support

As for playing it back on a monitor, you'd need something like a Lightning Digital AV Adapter - Lightning to HDMI - Apple or similar to connect to the display.
