Apple TV Sound
When using an app within Apple TV (HBO Max, Star, etc) on the main screen there is no sound. However, if I switch to Picture-in-Picture the sound returns for the video showing in the PIP. Any ideas!?

could be if your appletv set set to surround but you don't have surround connected
it's logical enough that when picture in picture is activated it revert to stereo
if you change the audio in settings to stereo it should likely play when the apps are full screen too
