iOS 16 media player on lock screen missing volume slider

Not solved but the idea is so fitting that it is probably the best we will see & get to getting a volume slider that was on previous IOS versions before the IOS16 downgrade. I am amazed how quickly some forget the idea behind an upgrade. I used to rollover on the side of my bed at night & take a finger to swipe the volume control if the passage got a little louder than some of my previous sleep piano music ie ambient noise got quite etc. Now I have to guess using the side vol buttons on my You Tube music or tap the closed screen and swipe the locked screen up to access the slider which by the way also doesn't anymore have a round animated knob as before IOS16. This not seeing where the slider is at is also visually a downgade. If the downgrade process were easier to do I would in fact be choosing it , as I haven't really noticed the improvement going to IOS16. I rest my case.
