I used to be able to download a PDF and it would auto open in Preview. Now it just downloads and doesn't open unless I go into downloads and click on the document. How can I get that back?

I don't recommend designating the Downloads folder for an Automator Folder Action, as it will be triggered every time you download anything to that location. What I do is look at the last icon that appears on my Dock Downloads folder alias and if that is an image or PDF, a single click will open it in Preview.
