New shared Safari group tab is no longer visible on my iOS 16 iPhone but is visible on iPad and MacOS 15.x

Thank you Dorain1 for sending the links, however nether explains how to locate/retrieve the missing group on my iPhone.

My iPhone is running the public release version 16.0.

here is a more detailed explanation of how the group was created, shared and issues seen which may shed a bit more light.

The issue may be due to the group tab and the links all being created on my iPad originally and then shared on the iPhone.

Before sharing both my iPhone and iPad could see and view the 6 group dabs that I had setup.

Once shared though, the group tab disappeared on my iPhone and left me with 5 group tabs to select from.

on my wife’s phone; also running the public release version 16.0, can see the group tab, but shows none of the pages that were in it when it was shared.

all my other devices can see the group tab and when clicking on it, it states that version 16 is required to access shared group tabs…

since my wife has accessed the group tab, we both see an update message that will not go away in our chat under the messages application.

we have ended up deleting the group, me from my iPad and my wife from her phone.

we have also needed then to go into our conversation in the messages app and delete each update notifications (approx 100 in total that had accumulated within only a few days even though no changes were made).

as for creating a new shared safari tab, I don’t think I will be doing that any time soon as it is pointless with only iPhone devices currently able to view them.

Now this is starting to get annoying.

after deleting the group a few days ago on both accounts and then clearing the notifications about updates in both my and my wife’s chat within messages, we are still getting notifications say that each of us are updating the groups. Re are receiving approx 4-5 notifications every 4 hours or so.

all we can do is acknowledge each and every message to clear them.

the review button if used, just takes us to safari all tabs group showing all the pages we had open within safari in a grid.
