Disabled iphone

I have a unlocked iPhone from a relative and I factory reset it and put my own passcode in and I forgot it so I ended up disabling my phone

And now, you must reset / erase the phone and set it up again.


If your iPhone is running iOS 15.2 or higher........(it appears that it might be).......you can use the instructions linked just below which will not require the use of a Mac or PC:

If you have a backup of the phone, you can use the backup to restore the data on the phone during the new setup.


It might be a good idea to write down the password that you are sure that you will never forget and keep it in a safe place.......to avoid another episode like this.
