Apple CarPlay & IOS 16??

Just updated my iPhone to latest IOS and now Apple CarPlay doesn't work. HELP!

The vehicle is a 2020 Honda, the phone is a 2nd Generation SE and they have been connected (& working perfectly) via USB cable for a year.

I've tried plugging-in/unplugging a dozen times, disabling/enabling through my car's settings 6-7 times & still nothing.

On the Home Screen of the Honda you have an icon for SmartPhone that changes to Apple CarPlay when you plug the phone in (normally) but now the icon changes for a millisecond and then stays as SmartPhone.

Any ideas?

Spent about 90 minutes with a "very friendly, polite, Apple Tech. this morning and he eventually had me try a "RESET OF MY NETWORK SETTINGS" on my iPhone and everything works like it used to. YEAH!!
