iPhone 14 Pro camera slow

Is anyone else having a problem with their iPhone 14 Pro camera when using the default iOS camera app? The rear camera takes about five seconds to actually activate when opening the camera app. Third party camera apps seem to load fine.

I’ve posted about this on other forums and it seems to be an issue with some 14 Pros, just wondering how widespread it is. It doesn’t seem as widespread as the vibrating camera issue, but then it probably isn’t as immediately noticeable to most users as that.

Have you updated to iOS 16.0.3, which specifically addresses this issue? From Apple Release Notes on 16.0.3

Ever since updating to iOS 16.0.3, my front camera completely stopped working. It’s blurred or freezes on every app, including the Camera app itself.

Same. My phone is locked and when I try to open the camera my screen turns black and freezes. It will let me swipe out of the camera but not do anything else. It’s frustrating.
