where is search bar in the iTunes Store

It's September 2022 and I no longer can find the Search Window in the iTunes Store. I have no interest in Apple Music, simply want to browse and buy music from the store. Thank you.

Searching iTunes store I'm having problems searching for music in the iTunes store. I have the store in the side bar on the left of the screen but when I click in the search box there is no option to select the store as a search location - it just says 'searching your library'. I read an earlier post saying that when you click in the search box 3 dots appear on the right. I do have three dots but they only open 'playing next' and 'history' options. I would love to buy and download some more music!

I can't seem to buy music on iTunes anymore How do I buy music on iTunes without subscribing to apple music? When I'm in the Music app and I click iTunes, there is no way to search for an artist or click to purchase like there used to be. Here's a screenshot of the landing page. If I use the search bar in the top left, it just searches my library, not iTunes.

See the following from Buy music from the iTunes Store - Apple Support

Open the Apple Music app.
In the menu bar, choose Music > Preferences.
Go to the General tab, select iTunes Store, then click Ok.
Click the search field, then enter the song or album that you want to buy.
Click the iTunes Store button in the upper-right corner.
