iPad 6th gen IOS16

Can’t see IOS 16 in Software Update, tried going through Finder on my MacBook and that says 15.7 is up to date. Anyone else have the same issue?

iPad software update doesn't find iPadOS 16, says 15.7 is the latest I have an iPad Air 5th Gen that upgraded to IOS 15.7 today, however further checks for an update doesn't find IOS 16.x. I have tried all of the suggestions across the net including reboots, resetting network settings, checking from Finder on my Mac with the iPad tethered via USB-C. Every time it reports 15.7 is the latest version (as of Sept 30, 2022). I'm not interested enough yet to try a full factory reset! Thanks for any suggestions.

iOS16 not showing up for iPad Mini 5th Gen The new iOS16 not showing up for my iPad Mini 5th Gen. I've tried restarting, resetting network settings, trying to upgrade in the finder App connected to an iMac. I have about 6 GB free of 64GB. I can only upgrade to iPadOS15.7 Any suggestions?

I believe this is the first time Apple has used different dates for the versions of iOS.
