Cannot find apps in Finder on Imac 12 Monterey

Launched finder to delete an app but couldn't find apps listed in Finder!

iMac (24-inch, M1, 2021, 2 ports)

If Applications aren't shown in the sidebar in Finder, you can go to Finder Preferences, click Sidebar at the top of the Preferences window and then select Applications from the list of options to display in the sidebar.

Or you can access the Applications folder by going to the Finder "Go" menu and click Applications there.

Thanks for your reply, after opening finder, applications are not listed in the side panel! The only way that I know how to open Apps is if I right click on the finder icon and click on applications from the list. I know how to uninstall an app just curious as to why apps is not listed in my Finder.
